The course commences from first week of July every year.
The induction and training program is conducted in three stages providing the candidates an exposure to research based progressive teaching learning practices.
Stage1 Capacity Building ( 3 Months)
A program spanning 3 months in a residential mode at SelaQui International School, Dehradun covering the following aspects:-

Stage 2 School Experience ( 7 Months )
School internship in some of the top performing schools and mentoring under experienced school leaders. A well-defined structured curriculum is followed focusing on honing core teaching skills, analytical writing and research skills. Under the guidance of experienced professional, the candidates are required to conduct action research, case study, book review and subject book analysis. In addition, the teacher trainee are required to observe and conduct classroom transaction along with performing various duties in the school.
Stage 3 Wrap Up ( 2 Months )
Wrap Up Round -Residential program at Sela Qui International School, Dehradun spanning over 2 months to blend their learning with on the job experience. In the last one week they appear for their final evaluations before being placed in schools.
Continuous monitoring and evaluation of Performance
The entire program is designed to be rigorous and demands full engagement and focus of the candidates. The performance of candidates is under strict scrutiny
Stipend
The candidates are paid a stipend of Rs.25, 000 per month during the entire training, subject to conditions of attendance, engagement and performance
Post Graduate Diploma in Pedagogy (PGDP)
Upon successful completion of induction training program (ITP) the candidates are awarded Post Graduate Diploma in Pedagogy (PGDP) by TeacherSITY – The training vertical of The Gurukul Trust.
Placement Opportunities
Our hosts i.e Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Society (DPSGS) along with SelaQui International School and other leading schools extended assistance to provide internship opportunities to candidates successfully completing the capacity building program at SelaQui. They along with some other leading schools across the country participate in the campus selection to absorb these candidates in their schools.
The candidates may possibly look at a starting gross salary of around Rs. 40,000/- per month.
